Central Florida Chapters

DESCRIPTION
We are all about friendshipfellowship, and companionship. Centered near Orlando, we have members from a wide swath across Florida and usually hold our rallies at interesting places within 150 miles of there. A typical rally always starts with a lot of hugs, offers to help each other with problems on our rigs, swapping of stories (some of them true), and making sure we all know where and when Happy Hour convenes.  We keep in touch between rallies and support each other in the ways of people who genuinely care about each other. We invite others to join us either for a visit or to consider becoming members. Visit our website at www.cfroadrunners.org

DESCRIPTION:

The Challengers are known as the “Volunteer” Chapter.  We volunteer at both FMCA Rallies. The SEA held in Lakeland, FL and the FMCA Perry Rall, Perry, GA.  We serve Coffee and Donuts as well as help out other volunteer opportunities; like parking, security, and educational seminars.  Both of these Rallies are fun, provide informative seminars, entertainment, and the opportunity to meet other fellow FMCA members.  Look for us at the Chapter Fair.

The Challengers hold official monthly rallies from September to May where usually two couples host our rallies by planning meals, activities and excursions.  During the summer months of June, July and August our members get together for informal rallies.  Each rally attracts between 15-25 members.  Many of us are long-time FMCA members.  We constantly welcome new members to come join the fun.  Most of our rallies are held at campgrounds located around a 100 mile radius of Central Florida with members from Jacksonville to Sarasota and on both the East and West Coasts.  Each official rally begins on Thursday and ends on Sunday morning.  Some of our members choose to arrive earlier to extend their fun. We gather in the afternoons of the rally for “Happy Hour” enjoying lots of laughs and friendships, snacks, drinks and jokes!  In the evenings we gather to play various games.  We would love for you to come join the Fun.

The Frustrated Maestro Southeast Area Chapter of the Family RVing Association (FRVA) exists to celebrate and promote music of all kinds. Whether you’re a retired music professional, an active performer in your local community, or simply someone who loves to sing and play, you’re welcome here! Our chapter is passionate about music and camaraderie. We participate in Frustrated Maestro events across the country, bringing joy and entertainment to rallies and conventions. Typically, our members gather a few days before each Rally or Convention to rehearse, meet the conductor, and enjoy social time together. During rallies and conventions, we perform at: Coffee Hour, Ice Cream Social, Opening Ceremonies. The only requirement to join is a love for music and a willingness to participate and have fun! We provide an online music book that can be printed for practice and performances. Our standard performance attire includes white pants/skirt/shorts, Red tops, and a Frustrated Maestro visor/cap if available. The SEA Sharps typically meet once a year in Lakeland, Florida, at Sun ’n Fun, in conjunction with the Southeast Area Rallies hosted by FRVA.  If the Southeast Area hosts the Convention in Perry, the yearly meeting will take place at the convention. Membership Dues $10 per RV annually. Once you’re a member of any Frustrated Maestro chapter, you’re welcome to travel and participate in events hosted by other chapters across the USA. We encourage you to explore and connect with fellow music lovers nationwide! For questions, feel free to email the Secretary of SEA Sharps. Follow us on Facebook to stay updated on events and activities!

Description

The Roll’n Rebels take pride in the fact we are the original Southeast Area Chapter of FMCA. We have been an ongoing, active chapter since 1968 and have enjoyed participation in the Southeast Area organization since its inception. As a chapter, we meet once a month on the third weekend of the month from October through May. We have a Wagon Master who selects the sites for our monthly gathering volunteer hosts who are free to plan all activities and meals. Typically, several members arrive at the rally site as early birds and go out to dinner together, somewhere in the area. Friday usually starts with get reacquainted hour as everyone has arrived by Friday afternoon. At this point the hosts can determine what happens. It may be potluck supper (usually is) or another eat out or dinner on your own. Saturday starts with breakfast and moves on to day trips or games, again, up to the hosts. Lunch is on your own, as a rule. You may find us in a club house in the evening, playing card games, dominoes, etc. Saturdays start with breakfast and on to the day’s activities. It might be a rousing Bocci Ball tournament, Bean Bag Baseball, or a trip somewhere – whatever everyone wishes to do. Saturday dinner is possibly catered, cooked by hosts and friends, or eat out. Every day has a slot for Happy Hour Bottom line is we have fun, and welcome new members to come check us out. We go to private campgrounds in the central Florida area most of the time. Sometimes we may go to a State Park or boondock at the Pumpkin Festival in Bradenton in October. We also make use of the camping facilities at the Hernando County Airport Southeast Area site. You ‘all come!!

DESCRIPTION

Would you like to spend a few days a month with others who enjoy camping the RV way? The Sun Roamers of Florida chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association was founded in 1984. We hold rallies the first full weekend each month from October through May at various RV Parks in central Florida. We’re pretty laid back and casual. We socialize, have great food, play games, and sometimes enjoy local attractions but the focus is on relaxing so there’s always free time to explore or do your own thing. Two member couples typically host each rally. They provide a full breakfast on Saturday, the main course for Saturday dinner (with attendees contributing side dishes and desserts) and a continental breakfast on Sunday as everyone prepares to leave. Hosted meals are in the park club house. Those who arrive on Thursday gather for Attitude Adjustment time (aka Happy Hour) near a member coach. Everyone brings chairs, their own refreshments and snacks to share. Happy Hour on Fridays involves a light potluck supper instead of just snack food. Happy Hour on Saturday is back to snacks before dinner. Lunches are on your own. You get to enjoy all this great food for a rally fee of just $30 per couple ($15 for a single). If this sounds appealing, call or e-mail us to learn more. We look forward to hearing from you.
